August 2006 8 1/2 X 11 inches Journal Quilt project 2006 I used blue and white fabrics to make another Luminosity quilt, and spent a week in Kansas visiting my friend Jill Rumoshosky Werner ( www.wernerstudio.com). Who would believe I returned to New York with a skull given to me by Jill's husband, to find a tornado had hit my local area? The skull and the tornado left their mark on this quilt.
