A complex month with lots going on. Pieced of leftovers from a quilt I made for my niece Degen's bat Mitzvah ( dragon flies, bugs and flowers) in early October, and pieces of a quilt by Paula Nadelstern which I squared off and machine quilted,which was displayed at the IQF in Houston in Paula's solo show at the end of October.The black bars remind me of the darkness that separates us and imprisons us, but allows a glimpse of sky now and then.
